【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandarddetailsanalyticalmethodssuitableforanalysingthetwoprimarytoxiccombustiongases,carbonmonoxide(CO)andhydrogencyanide(HCN),inbloodsamplescollectedfromfirecasualties.Inblood,COismeasuredascarboxyhaemoglobin(COHb)andHCNascyanideion(CN-).AlthoughnumerousmethodsarereportedintheliteratureforperformingbloodCOHbandCN-analyses,theanalyticalmethodsincludedhereinarebasedupontheirsuitabilityforperformingtheanalysisonante-mortemandpost-mortembloodsamplesfromfirecasualties.Theanalyticalprinciple,analysistime,repeatability,reproducibility,robustness,effectivenessandinstrumentsusedareconsideredforthosemethods.Someofthemethodsdescribedhereinmightnotbesuitableforanalysingputridorclottedblood.Burned(solid)bloodcanbeanalysedafterhomogenization.
