【摘要】:ThisBritishStandardspecifiesthemechanicaldesign,dimensionalrequirementsandmethodsforcalculatingtheoperatingpowerrequirementsfornon-mobiletroughedbeltconveyorsincorporatingcarryingidlers.Thestandardalsospecifiesmethodsforcalculatingtheforcesexertedonthebelt.Thisstandardappliestoconveyorsusingeitherrubberorplasticbelting,withtextilereinforcement(conformingtoBS490-1),carryingloosebulkmaterials,havingamaximumspeedof6m/s.Thisstandarddoesnotcoverthesafeguardingofhazardpoints.BSEN620:2002coversthesafeguardingofhazardpointsonfixedtroughedbeltconveyorsandBSEN618:2002dealswithsafeguardingofhazardpointsonfixedbeltconveyorsthatarebuiltintoorattachedtomachines.Thisstandarddoesnotapplytothefollowingcategories:a)undergroundminingconveyors;b)conveyorshandlingmaterialsthatdonotbehaveasbulksolids.NOTE1AnnexAprovidesguidanceontheinformationtobesuppliedbythepurchaseratthetimeofenquiryand/order.NOTE2PortableandmobileconveyorsarecoveredinBS4531.NOTE3Beltspeedinexcessof6m/smightrequireanalysisofforcesnotconsideredinthisspecification.
