【摘要】:1.1Thistestmethoddescribesaprocedureforfieldmeasurementoftherateofinfiltrationofliquid(typicallywater)intosoilsusingdouble-ringinfiltrometer.1.2Soilsshouldberegardedasnaturaloccurringfineorcoarse-grainedsoilsorprocessedmaterialsormixturesofnaturalsoilsandprocessedmaterials,orotherporousmaterials,andwhicharebasicallyinsolubleandareinaccordancewithrequirementsof1.5.1.3Thistestmethodisparticularlyapplicabletorelativelyuniformfine-grainedsoils,withanabsenceofveryplastic(fat)claysandgravel-sizeparticlesandwithmoderatetolowresistancetoringpenetration.1.4Thistestmethodmaybeconductedatthegroundsurfaceoratgivendepthsinpits,andonbaresoilorwithvegetationinplace,dependingontheconditionsforwhichinfiltrationratesaredesired.However,thistestmethodcannotbeconductedwherethetestsurfaceisbelowthegroundwatertableorperchedwatertable.1.5Thistestmethodisdifficulttouseortheresultantdatamaybeunreliable,orboth,inveryperviousorimpervioussoils(soilswithahydraulicconductivitygreaterthanabout10-2cm/sorlessthanabout1X10-6cm/s)orindryorstiffsoilsthatmostlikelywillfracturewhentheringsareinstalled.Forsoilswithhydraulicconductivitylessthan1X10-6cm/srefertoTestMethodD5093.1.6Thistestmethodcannotbeuseddirectlytodeterminethehydraulicconductivity(coefficientofpermeability)ofthesoil(see5.2).1.7ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.1.8Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
